Some fantastic festivals of the world (June)

Even though we're based in Singapore (for now!), lets not forget the other amazing festivals around the world that fall in the month of June! :)

Boi Bumba
When: June 24 - 26, 2011 Unconfirmed
Where: Parintins, Brazil

The festival of Boi Bumba (literally ‘Beat the Ox’) is a colourful mix of Christian and native Indian traditions and presents myths and legends using parade carts and giant puppet characters! Known as a "carnivalesque spectacular of sight and sound", this is an incredible experience that Liz and I hope to experience one day!

Glastonbury Festival
When: June 24 - 26, 2011
Where: Worthy Farm, Pilton, England

Known as the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world, one can enjoy a staggering 700 performances of music, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and a myriad of other arts at the infamous Glastonbury Festival! Its been said that if you have an eclectic taste in music, a non-existent need for sleep and a touch of hippie stirring somewhere deep inside, then a trip to Glastonbury is a must at least once in your lifetime.

Sounds good enough for us! :)

Isle of Wight Festival
When: June 10-12
Where: Isle of Wight, England

Seems like June is the month of music festivals! Besides Glastonbury, there's also the Isle of Wight Festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! Musical line up include Foo Fighters, Pixie Lott and many other amazing acts. Tickets for this year have been sold out, so if you're not already there... well, there's always next year :)

Maybe someday, all of us can experience these festivals together! :)

Love,
Jamie & Liz
